Family Ministries

This area of ministry is in the continual state of change as we strive to meet the needs of families in the battle of raising Godly children in a world that does not know God and blatantly tries to deny Him. This journey of "life with God" is not all highway. We face constant heartache and pain, disappointment and death of loved ones here on earth. There is the uncertainty of what will come our way today and in the future. THERE IS HOPE!

Colossians 3: 1-4 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Because of God's provision through Christ who has in Matthew 28: 18 - 20, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commended you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

The final Promise: He , Christ will be with us to the very end of the age!

It is tough ,it is messy because everyone decides who they will follow.

Finally, the hope is that together, seeking the will of the Father we can persevere and in the end see that Christ is the Victor no matter what man chooses!

Missions

We support 12 different missionary families at $17,400 annually, of which 22 percent goes to our Bagley area, 34 percent to United States ministry, and 44 percent to international ministry.  Our missionaries work in evangelism (19 percent), family ministry (33 percent), Bible education (32 percent), and Bible translation (19 percent).  Per Acts 1:8 "...you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all of Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth."  Our vision is to follow these directions given by Jesus before he ascended.  Visiting supported missionaries included Tim and Debbie Johnson.  Current missionaries' needs will be assessed this coming year.

In November 2017, several Grace Chapel people joined another group to participate in a Guatemala Outreach 10-day mission.  They assisted local leaders and families in house building, daily Bible schools, food and clothing distribution and local ministry support.  Another served on a medical team in Zambia, Africa, for 10 days.  Food shelf volunteers have been faithful at their task.  If you are interested in joining our Service Mission Team, contact the church office.

Men's Ministry

Come and be with us on the first Saturday of each month, 8:00-9:00 AM at Grace Chapel, for our Grace Chapel Monthly Men's Breakfast.  Bring your friends and neighbors.  Bring your sons.  Enjoy this time as we fellowship together, have some scrumptious food, and are encouraged and strengthened in Christ as a different speaker each month shares with us.  Each month, a free will offering is taken for the church camp fund.  These monies are used to help send children and adults to camp.

Join us for a fellowship breakfast each Thursday morning at 8 AM at the D&R Cafe in Bagley. Wilderness camping experiences where we explore God's creation, grow in community and encourage each other in our walk with God. During weekly Bible study men meet to dig deep into God's Word.

Women's Ministry

  • Women's Sunday School classes occur occasionally.  Various women's bible studies take place weekly either in person or through Zoom.   We also love to get together and socialize and build relationships.  Some of the activities we have done include Christmas caroling, Christmas cookie decorating, baby showers, and Chick Flick nights!  Each year, our women attend Oak Hills Women's Breakaway in June south of Bemidji.  We also attend Camp Lebanon Women's retreat in Upsala every fall.   Contact the church office to find out what is happening now!
